  • The Casa Milà (2 minutes walking) is a genuine building in Modernisme style, popularly known as La Pedrera (Catalan for stone quarry), constructed between 1906 and 1912 and designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí (UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1984).
  • The Casa Batlló (5 minutes walking) was built between 1904 and 1906. This masterpiece and architectural jewel was designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí (UNESCO World Heritage List in 2005).
  • The Basílica de la Sagrada Família (15 minutes walking), despite remaining unfinished at the time of Gaudí's death, has become one of the most iconic landmarks of Barcelona, It is located in the Eixample district.
  • The Park Güell (Catalan: Parc Güell) (15 minutes by metro) is a garden complex with architectural elements situated on the hill of El Carmel in the Gràcia district of Barcelona. It was designed by the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí and built in the years 1900 to 1914 (UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1984).
  • The Cathedral of la Santa Creu and Santa Eulàlia (10 minutes by metro) commenced in 1298 and was built over six centuries. The temple is predominantly a Gothic building located in in the old quarter of the town.
  • The Palau de la Música Catalana (10 minutes by metro), concert hall in Barcelona, was commissioned from the architect Lluis Domènech i Montaner. This building in modernisme style was built in just under three years, from 1905 to 1908 (UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997).
  • The Gran Teatre del Liceu (10 minutes by metro), opened in 1847 is one of the key landmarks in the heart of the famous Ramblas. The Barcelona opera house has been a major centre for culture and the performing arts for over 150 years.
  • The Boqueria Market (10 minutes by metro) is a metaphor for the history of Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter. The first of Barcelona's local markets was opened on Saint Joseph's day, on the 19th of March 1840.
  • The Picasso Museum (15 minutes by metro) was opened to the public in 1963 as an essential museum to find out about the artist's formative years. It is housed in five Catalan-Gothic-style palazzos dating from the 13th and 14th centuries in the heart of Barcelona's Gothic Quarter.
  • The Joan Miró Foundation (10 minutes by taxi), initiated in 1968 by Miró himself, will introduce you to one of the artist's most beautiful works of art.
